The Owlery Booking Terms

​COVID-19 Policy:  We are following industry advice in regards to hosting guests and we are committed to AirBnB's Covid-19 cleaning practices.  All reservations are 100% refundable if Government restrictions change to prevent your stay.  Otherwise our standard cancellation policy applies.

• Bookings are confirmed following the receipt of payment in full for the booking period.  By paying, you and any staying guest accepts the terms set out below.​

 

• Cancellations must be made by telephone and then in writing.  Bookings are fully refundable with more than 14 days notice, after which time no refunds will be made.  In the event of a no-show or booking reduction (after arrival) the full cost of the booking is charged.

 

• We recommend that you take out independent comprehensive travel insurance before your holiday.

 

• Your booking will not be cancelled, except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control.  Notification of any cancellation will be given as soon as possible with a prompt and full refund. Our liability will be limited to payments made to us.

 

• Check-in is at 3.00pm on the date of arrival and check-out is by 11.00am on the date of departure.

 

• The Owlery is for 2 guests only over the age of 18.  Any unregistered guests staying overnight will be charged the full nightly rate.

 

• The Owlery, its contents and grounds must be kept in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of booking and should be left in a good state of cleanliness and general order.

 

• Whilst the cost of occasional, minor breakage is included in our pricing, more extensive damage to furniture, fixtures, fittings and decoration may be charge for.  The Owlery will be inspected immediately after check-out with photographs of any damage emailed to you.

 

• Cars are parked at the property at the owner’s risk.

 

• Guests should behave appropriately.  Should a guest abuse the property or display dangerous or offensive behaviour we reserve the right to the require the person(s) concerned to leave the property and grounds immediately.  No refund will be applicable.

 

• No pets allowed.

 

• There is no smoking in the property. You may smoke in the garden; please ensure you dispose of your butts responsibly.

 

• Lost keys to the property will be charged at £30 per set.

 

• The Owlery is located next to an arable farm.  Large machinery may be heard in the adjacent fields, particularly during harvest time.  The owners cannot be held responsible for any disturbance caused the peace and tranquillity by this activity.

 

The Owlery is privately owned and is part of our home.  We expect all our guests to enjoy the facilities The Owlery offers and treat the property with the same respect that they would their own home.
